Typography class project surrounding the topic of choice in Diversity and Inclusion, Sustainability, or Mental Health. This project also included a multi-page piece and a collateral piece. For these additional deliverables, I created a children's book and stickers.

Process:

The first step in my process was to find resources to utilize. I found several peer-reviewed articles as well as "What's Your Pronoun?" by Dennis Baron (he, him, his). I utilized brainstorming, ideation, iteration, and hand-drawn sketches to help format my poster. I asked for peer feedback at multiple stages throughout the design process.

Product:

My design product was the above 24"x36" poster. I shared the product with my brother, the lead Safe Zone Facilitator in his college's Center for Diversity and Inclusion. This office was able to provide further feedback allowing me to add the finishing touches. They also used this poster and the children's book during a Safe Zone training on their campus.
